"Have you noticed big splashes of color that have appeared at Emory Place off North Central Street? It's part of a new mural installation, and more artwork is still coming.
Artists from Knoxville and beyond are completing a large-scale mural project that will soon cover more than 7,000 square feet of wall space just north of downtown Knoxville.
KnoxWalls is an effort spearheaded by Dogwood Arts, Visit Knoxville and Lilienthal Gallery, according to a news release. The Tennessee Arts Commission and ORNL Federal Credit Union also supported the project, and property owners Ilana Brodt and Johnny and Libby Harb provided the wall space."
