On November 6th, from 5–8 PM, Lilienthal Gallery invites Knoxville to an exciting new exhibition, Hand + Hue: Echoes of Impressionism.
Gallery talk at 6:30 pm
Our artistic landscape is filled with echoes from every past generation’s stylistic elements. Breaking out of strict standards regulated by institutions, Impressionism’s effects are embedded in the fabric of contemporary art. We see this through loose brushstrokes, emphasis on emotion, bold colors, and energetic compositions. This exhibition includes artwork from artists Abel Beyene (Ethiopia), Elham Etemadi (France), Cate Maddy (Australia), Janine Dunn Wade (Pennsylvania), and Erika Stearly (Pennsylvania).
Join us for the exhibition opening reception November 6th, adorned in your most floral and painterly attire for a celebration of color and rhythm.
