Orel Brodt

Adán López Alemán is a Spanish expressionist artist, who has exhibited his work throughout Europe. Working with mixed techniques and materials; watercolor, acrylic, oils, pastels, and ink, Adan is transforming the subject matter into a symphony of expression and movement.

His “soul paintings” capture personality, soul, and storyline in each portrait. In a combination of realism and expressionism, an atmosphere or mood is created that is characteristic in his work.

Portraiture and the moving figure are dominating his artistic career. References from the inner being and the struggle in life, are the resulting alchemy of originality that makes it all a thoughtful experience.

Lopez’s colorful black and white portraits are playing behind a “social mask”, opening the eyes, searching for the truth.

In his figure painting, we can feel the breeze and hear the wind moving through the bodies trying to hold on.

Aleman’s work has been featured in Lilienthal Gallery’s Opening Exhibition.

Orel Brodt is a young upcoming artist with in-depth experience in fashion, textiles, and color. In her work, Orel takes the threads and fabrics from her design world, translating them into strong brush strokes and weaves them together with bold, bright, exuberant colors that express the many layers truly consisting of the human spirit.

Breaking out from a tree, we see strong, resilient female figures in vivid colors that transport the viewer through a journey of new beginnings. Throughout the ages, people looked to trees to feed not only the flesh but to nurture the spirit and mind. The figures stemming from the roots are deeply grounded, growing through the heart center of the tree of life. The branches of hair reaching toward the sky signify our limitless potential.

From Orel Brodt’s work with fashion houses such as Robert Graham, Oscar De La Renta, Viktor and Rolf, and Panos Yiappanis, to presentations in Amsterdam, London, Tel-Aviv, and New York City, she uses her art skills with movement and shapes.
